Vesteria began development and released in 2018, and since then has had a plethora of updates that have helped shape the game into what it is today. This post aims to provide a list of every update and event that has happened since Vesteria started development as of the date this post was published. You can use this if you are a returning player who has not played in a couple years to see the new content that exists in the game. Key updates and content expansions will have their dates highlighted like this.
Note that this timeline only addresses changes to the game. While there have been plenty of events that occurred within the Vesteria community throughout its history organized by players, developer changes (hirings and terminations), and office updates, they are not included here, with one exception for April - June 2020 events, since it was a notable period in Vesteria history where the game and most forms of widespread communication about the game were inaccessible.
Due to the size of all of the changelogs (particularly later changelogs), this post will be divided over several posts in the replies, with each being a year. This first post covers 2018 and 2019.
If you spot any errors or missing updates, please feel free to reply or contact me! This post (and subsequent replies for later years) will be updated as more updates are released or found for earlier years.
Special thanks to Yichen3510 for recording several shadow changes throughout 2022 and 2023, and @azgdzg for reviewing and providing feedback.
