Introduction
The Stranger is Vesteria’s traveling salesperson NPC who sells a variety of rare, useful, and/or exclusive items. He spawns each in-game night at a location in a specific map which may vary from server to server. The map the Stranger spawns in, as well as what items he is selling and the prices for those items, changes each day at midnight UTC[1].
This post aims to provide a full list of locations that he can spawn each night as well as data about the prices of those items that he sells. Item data only includes data since the most recent (logged) update to Stranger’s inventory (June 19th, 2025).
Note that this post will not be updated nightly with the Stranger’s location. For details on that, please refer to the Vesteria News server or any community server which follows the related channel.
Any subsequent updates about new locations or items will be noted in the replies to this post (Discourse limits edits to 30 days from the day of posting, and anyone below trust level 2 cannot edit posts).
Locations
Mushtown
- In the house Mayor Noah is standing in front of.
- In the left watchtower near the entrance to the town.
- In the stone tower ruins outside of town.
- In the treehouse that contains the golden chest, accessible by bouncing off a mushroom.
The Moat
- On the right side of the dock, next to the faction statues on the left side of the bridge.
Nilgarf
- On a balcony at the top of the Baron’s castle.
- On a balcony of a building next to the small pond and entrance to Nilgarf Sewers.
- Inside the house the Catgirl is standing on.
- On the second floor of the vanity emporium, past the vanity hats.
Great Crossroads
- On top of a windmill where the path forks towards the faction bases.
Port Fidelio
- Next to the chicken coops, either outside or standing inside the building.
- On a tall hill overlooking the map next to a fireplace.
Redwood Stronghold
- On top of the entrance to the bridge leading towards the main stronghold area.
- On the balcony in the main stronghold area across from the Knight of the Night.
- In one of the tents in the warrior camp near the base of the mountain.
Tree of Life
- Next to the guild hall entrance.
- At the fork in the path near Mr. Plant’s house.
- On the walkway leading into the clock tower and sorcerer trainer.
- On the wooden structure next to the clock tower.
Shiprock Bottom
- In a tall sand structure near the back of the map.
- Off to the right side of the map, in an underwater cave.
Crabby Den
- Next to the golden chest.
Colosseum
- On a circular hill on the outskirts of the map.
- Next to one of the pillars underneath the Colosseum to the left of the main entrance.
Lost Corridor
- Next to the fireplace on top of the gate.
- On a platform in the water on the Tree of Life side.
Enchanted Library
- On top of a bookshelf on the inner part of the second floor.
- Standing in the open on the inner part of the second floor.
- On top of some debris on the outer part of the second floor.
Nilgarf Sewers
- Next to a fireplace at bottom of the sewers.
Item Data
You can find data about each item, including the average price, highest price and lowest price here. This spreadsheet will be kept up to date for the most part, generally updating at least weekly.
