Yes you should your fishbowl green. Now this is because of a myriad of reasons. For one dying it green could bring an earthier more grounded tone to the color scheme and overall feel to the room. Along with that the shock value garnered by those who enter your(or wherever it is stored) will be like “Wow! Your fishbowl is green. Why is that?” Making it an excellent conversation starter. So for these reason this is why you SHOULD dye fishbowl green.
