I think PvP is a large component of the game, with many long standing players engaging in different PvP activities. It has been a core aspect around which a large community has formed.
I’ve often found that it isn’t properly appreciated as a core aspect of the game by everyone.
What do you think about it? Is PvP a core aspect of vesteria? Should it be developed in the future? Or is it an irrelevant side activity that lacks any real substance or future.

Outside of Badlands I would like any developer focus in PvP content to be solely in balancing existing items in the PvP scenario. Vesteria’s combat is primarily focused on perks received from equipment, and we continue getting more perks and more synergies; each new perk and synergy making rebalancing more difficult than it already is.
Vesteria’s primarily a PvE game and new content for the game as a whole can also be used in pre-existing PvP content. I think any updates solely focused on new PvP content would serve ittle benefit to the game or community as a whole.

I believe that like in most if not all MMORPG’s, PvP is a difficult subject. It usually is mostly taken on by players that dedicate a significant portion of their time for. I myself focus mainly on PvE. However, I believe that PvP events could be a possibility, and thrown into the mix of the weekly community events, and maybe give more alternatives to what happens inside the game. I also believe that PvP should never been seen as a negative, however, it certainly is not a new player experience. Maybe incorporating some form of gear score elements where PvP is accessible to all could be a thought. Not so much as a leaderboard style game, but a way to give the option for blossoming players to be a part of PvP without fighting players that just have better gear than they do. I know balancing is always an issue as more items are added as Kiritsugu has mentioned, but I believe if the game is more appealing to new players, it will help player retention.
last time I played pvp I just kept getting one shot and I don’t really know how that could be changed with the current combat system
Right now I think that its just a side activity meant for people that got bored of PvE because there is no other incentive to play PvP other than that, most people only care about making money, and the entire PvP economy is being carried by hatchets and undos which is slower than doing a lot of tal rey/circus runs. I feel that if PvP were more rewarding or had more variety with different gamemodes (more than 2 atleast) then people would start giving it a chance more often
