Rise of the Elements - Event

You sit still on a bench in the Great Crossroads. Suddenly, a strange portal opens up near the entrance to Nilgarf.

The elemental event is something that would be a sudden event that would go on for a week. This would either happen once or every year.

The lore is that the four elements Wind, Earth, Fire and Water absorbed Terul’s power in the Tree of Life. The elements escaped and created a portal in the center of Vesteria, which happens to be the Great Crossroads.

The goal is to fight the four elements with other players. It would be in an order of: Wind, Water, Earth and Fire. Since this would go for a week one element would happen on a specific day. When its a day that an elemental boss will appear, the portal will open and let players in. (Note: The certain elemental boss will only spawn every 12 hours only on that specific day.)

Probs will get copyrighted by League of Legends just for the name of the event lol.

I like this type of idea but my only issue is that, the great crossroads is inherently, a low level area. Putting what would be the strongest enemies in this kind of area would have negative consequences on the game.

thats from league of legends? had no idea lmao

The only other high level place is whispering dunes, and it won’t really fit there as well. Maybe it could have a restriction of level 40 or above?

Maybe this idea can be saved when the game is a lot more polished and complete, with new areas for this kind of thing.

Perhaps, “Event instances” within the Great Crossroads map that unlock the respective Level 40+ Event monsters for that map for those high level players. While blocking out all the lower level players from being able to “view and enter those battles”.

Thats a good idea!

Love the idea!

The only downside I can see to this is the way overpowered weapons. As I see it, the wind staff would make fighting against rangers hard. And the fire bow would make fighting against rangers even harder. Please change some of these weapons abilities or nerf them. Great post though!

Thanks for the support! I’ll think of another ability for it.
